The world is my library

When looking for short stories I typed into the search bar, “short stories for teens” and a few of them came up.  A few short stories I found interesting are:

- The Three Questions by Leo Tolstoy

- The tell-tale heart by Edgar Allen Poe

- The black cat by Edgar Allen Poe

These 3 short stories interested me because what these short stories about are so interesting. For instance, I really want to read the tell tale heart by Edgar Allen Poe because that short story is about the narrator trying to convince the reader that they are sane, but is also describing a murder the narrator committed.

Gatsby’s Test Chapters 1-4

Chapter one: What is the relation between Daisy and Nick? Who is Jordan Baker? Chapter two: Who is Tom Buchanan’s mistress? Who broke Mrs. Wilson’s nose? Chapter three: Who invited Nick to Gatsby’s party? Why was there a crowd at the end of Gatsby’s party? Chapter four: What did Jordan tell Nick about Daisy and the officer the day she saw them in Daisy’s car? Who did the officer turn out to be?

My Thesis Statement

I think it’s better to write an essay without a prompt. One reason why is because since you’re so used to having prompts it bores you so you don’t give it as much effort because you’re tired of doing the same type of essays. It would be more interesting to write an essay based off of what you want to write about and what’s most important for you to talk about.
